We have an opening for a position of Sign Fabricator. You must be committed to providing high quality work with safety always in mind. You have the expertise and confidence to identify challenges and provide custom solutions. It’s an exciting time in the sign industry and we want YOU to be a part of it! 

The responsibilities of this role include the following and a few more:

 

·      Prepare custom metal fabrications and welds.

·      Experience in metal (aluminum preferred) fabrication and welding

·      Shape letter walls for channel letters

·      Solve complex problems needing solutions to design/engineering

·      Record and Present ideas to improve production efficiency to Production Supervisor.

·      Prepare paint items as necessary.

·      Shape, cut and sand letters when required.

·      Work in compliance with all health and safety policies in accordance with the OHSA.

·      Report any contravention of the OHSA or the regulations or the existence of any hazard of which you know of.

REQUIREMENTS:

 

·      Some College/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

·      5+ years’ experience in sign fabrication an asset

·      5+ years’ experience in metal (aluminum preferred) fabrication and MIG welding

·      High levels of intelligence, creativity, attention to detail and problem solving ability

·      Ability to read technical drawings

·      Speak English, read English, write English
