We are currently seeking a Junior Estimator to join our team and support project estimating. We are a custom manufacturer, so every project is unique. You’ll gain exposure to how projects are broken down into the individual components that bring a client’s vision to life. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, detail-oriented, and interested in growing into a career in estimating.

 

You’ll work closely with sales, design, and production teams to gather information, build estimates, and collaborate on solutions. We don’t expect you to know everything on day one—but we do expect curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.

 

The responsibilities of this role include the following and a few more:

 

·      Assist with producing quotations for new opportunities to be submitted to clients

·      Gather and organize information from drawings, specifications, material lists, and existing estimates

·      Communicate with vendors to secure pricing and timelines

·      Support assembling bid pricing for larger tenders

·      Help create, review, and update estimating templates in the ERP system

·      Learn to read renderings and technical drawings to identify project components

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

·      1+ year experience in a manufacturing, construction, or related environment

·      Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)

·      Comfortable learning and working in an ERP system

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·      Excellent communication and organizational skills

·      Attention to detail with a willingness to ask questions and learn from others

·      Previous sign industry experience is an asset, but not required
