We're looking for a Sign Painter to join our team on a 6-month contract. If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy working with your hands, and have a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Prepare sign components and surfaces for painting and finishing
- Mix and match paint colours to required specifications
- Apply Matthews Paint and other coatings to a variety of custom signage products
- Ensure colour consistency and finish quality across all projects
- Review completed work for quality, appearance, and accuracy
- Assist with masking, sanding, cleaning, and surface preparation
- Maintain paint inventory and ensure materials are properly stored and handled
- Collaborate with production team members to meet project schedules and deadlines
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures
What You'll Bring
- Experience as a Sign Painter, Industrial Painter, Automotive Painter, or similar role
- Knowledge of Matthews Paint products and application techniques
- Experience mixing paints and colour matching
- Strong understanding of surface preparation and finishing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

Compensation
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
